Beach Jewellery

Every woman knows that accessories complete an outfit. An embellished neckpiece will instantly add drama to a rather plain blouse.

An accessory can make or break a great outfit. It can either enhance the outfit you’re wearing and highlight your delicate features or it can completely destroy your image when improperly chosen. Thus, women should be cautious in choosing the right accessories. Accessorizing is a way of expressing your personal style and mood for the day so it’s also important that you have fun doing it.

Women seem to forget that accessories are also a must when dressing up, whether it is for an important event or for a day at the beach or a pool party. We seem to forget that accessories also have the power to make us appear slimmer as they can avert one’s eye in the right places and highlight our best assets. However, women should take note to not over-accessorize when going to the beach or they might end up looking vulgar.  Beach Jewellery, in fact, should be subtle but colourful and fun as well. It is best to wear just one piece of standout jewellery, especially when you’re in your swimsuit.

Almost all swimsuits look good when paired with a cuff bracelet. Plain metallic cuff bracelets can instantly add a hint of sophistication and sparkle while embellished ones can enhance or add colour to your swimwear. Cuff bracelets with intricate designs and forms can highlight your toned arms. Hemp bracelets are also very beach-appropriate. Earrings should be kept simple but it should enhance your face shape as well.  Tankinis look great with a single statement bracelet or earrings. A single cocktail ring can instantly upgrade your swimwear.  This looks best when wearing a vintage-inspired bikini or a one-piece swimwear.

Hemp and beaded necklaces or those with precious stones are best used when wearing a swimsuit with a plunging neckline. Beaded accessories also look good with your swimwear. Be reminded that in wearing monokinis, one should keep accessories simple. Its intricate cut is enough to let you standout in it.

Anklets are also a great subtle way to accessorize on the beach.

Beware of swimsuits with metallic straps, rings, or accessories that are already attached to it. Make sure to match the colour of the metals with your accessories.  Also keep in mind that it is best to use subtle beach jewellery if your swimwear can stand for itself.

Choose from Morellato, Damiani, Bulgari or, if you don’t want to spend a fortune on jewellery, go to the local Accessorise store.  Have fun with it!
