Tips to Get a Flat Stomach Before Summer Starts

So it’s time to shop for sexy swimwear but, considering that low waist bikini bottoms and trunks will be THIS summer’s trend, we better start working out NOW in order to be ready to hit the beach.

In this article we will give you a few tips to get rid of that not-very-nice-to-look-at tummy, and flatten and tone your stomach so that you will be able to wear whatever swimsuit you like without feeling the least bit uncomfortable.

Keep the following rules and tips in mind and you will have a flat stomach in two weeks.

1. Believe it or not, but breathing is very important. To practice sports and having worked all day, there is not much time left for exercise. There are a few exercises you can do while sitting at your desk.

Simply breathe in the following way: lift your shoulders and keep your back straight; take a deep breath and hold it for 5 seconds, then exhale as if you were blowing 30 candles. Do this 20 times every 30 minutes, it will contribute to flattening your stomach and relaxing you, considering that stress is one of the main causes of round bellies.

2. Hydrate yourself. Drink as much STILL water as you can. Say goodbye to cokes, fantas, beers and all sparkling drinks, as they will make you feel bloated and cause your stomach to swell. You will find that as soon as you increase the amount of water you drink, your stomach will look much fuller than before. Well don’t worry, that’s just a temporary effect.

3. Start exercising at least once a day. Start by performing two sets of 20 crunches a day and increase the number of sets as soon as your stomach starts getting flatter. Here’s how to perform proper crunches:

• Lie down on your back
• Cross your hands and place them over your chest while keeping your knees bent. (Do not place your hands behind your head because you will end up exerting pressure on your neck and not on your belly).

  • Now go down as you inhale.

Repeat 20 times then rest and start the process all over again.

4.  Do not eat after 9 p.m.

Remember these few but important rules and you will look simply hot in your swimsuit.
