Australia

The Canary Islands

The Canary Islands are an archipelacntic Ocean, they form a large archipelago comprising seven major and six smaller islands, all of volcanic origin. The greater islands are El Hierro, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, La Palma, Tenerife and La Gomera. The capital is divided between Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

Caribbean

When we talk about the Caribbean, we generally refer to the islands in the Caribbean Sea, also known as West Indies, while the region actually includes the Caribbean Sea and the surrounding coasts.

Azores

The archipelago of the Azores is situated in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. The nearest countries are Madeira, Portugal and Nova Scotia, which is however quite a distant from the archipelago.

California, also known as the Golden State, is the most populous state in the whole US.
